The payouts may be bigger for affiliate products but conversions are much lower. There are a ton of affiliate programs out there but my two favorites are Commission Junction and Clickbank.

#6. Free IQ - FreeIQ is a new service that has a wealth of videos and audio files that people can freely browse. How do you make money? When you sign up as an affiliate your can refer people to the site and if they buy something you get a commission. It is basically YouTube…with an affiliate program. I get numerous questions about how to avoid getting your website banned from Google AdSense.  So, I put together a list of the top things to never do to ensure your AdSense account stays safe and does not get banned by Google.

1.  Never click on your own ads - Pretty simple but very important

2.  Never ask others to click on your ads - You should never in any way encourage people to click on your ads or offer any incentive for clicking on your AdSense ads.

3.  Never list your AdSense sites in auto surf programs or traffic exchanges - Google does not allow AdSense sites to be listed in traffic exchange sites like TrafficSwarm.com.

4.  Don’t put AdSense ads on sites with prohibited content - Google does not allow you to display AdSense on sites about gambling, drugs, pornography, profanity or any other site that is not moderately family friendly.

5.  Don’t alter the AdSense code - Never tamper with the code that AdSense gives you or make any changes to it.

6.  Display only the allowed amount of ads - Google allows 3 ad blocks, 3 link units, 2 referral buttons to be displayed on a single page.  Don’t go over the limits.

7.  Publicly displaying your AdSense account performance details - You can not show off to others your  your CTR,  or eCPM values.  Doing so is a sure way to get banned from AdSense.

8.  Be careful how you label your AdSense ads - You can only label your ads with “Advertisements” or “Sponsored Links”.  Never label your ads with “Click Here” or something similar to that as it is a sure way to get your account closed.

9.  Putting pictures next to your Ads - This is a tricky one and was recently changed by Google.  You can no longer put pics by your ads that make them look like they are related or part of the ad.  You need to have a clear border between the pictures and your AdSense ads.  Better yet, just avoid it!

10.  Putting AdSense on junk sites - While this one is not black and white, I would always suggest to never put ads on junk, spam or scrapper type sites because these type of sites rarely live up to Google’s quality guidelines.

11.  Not replying to emails from AdSense - It is not that uncommon to mistakenly do something that Google feels is against their TOS and they will, in most cases, send you an emailing letting you know what you did.  If you get such an email make sure to do whatever they want you to do and do it quickly.
